Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as by using this website and placing an order through it, you, the customer, are agreeing to accept them and be bound by them.

AK Creations reserves the right to modify the terms from time to time. Continued use of this website indicate that you have read, understood and accept the modified terms.

AK Creations is committed to producing items of the highest quality for your sighthound and ensuring that you, the customer, has a pleasant experience from your first website visit to receiving your order.

Using this website

AK Creations uses tracking technology (Google Analytics) to gather information about the number of visits to the website and the nature of searches used to find AK Creations and its products. For more information about how this works and what it means to you and your data, please refer to my Privacy Policy page.

Placing an order

You can order my custom made sighthound products using the ‘drop-down’ menus, measurements fields and ‘Add To Cart’ on each item’s page.

It is important that you measure your dog carefully (preferably two or three times) as per my ‘How To Measure’ page.

You will be taken through a Paypal hosted payment page and once complete, you should receive a ‘receipt for your payment’ email from Paypal and an 'Order Confirmation' email with your order number on it. Once you have received these emails, a sales contract exists between us. When I start work on your order (remember, this may be a few weeks after placing your order, depending on how busy I am) you will get an email to inform you that your order is in progress, and when I have posted it off you will receive another email to inform you that it has been sent.

Terms of payment

Payment is taken at the time of ordering. I will not start any order until the payment has been received in full and the funds have been cleared.

I am unable to take payments over the phone. If you are unable to make your payment by the usual method, please contact me to arrange  a bank transfer.

Postage & Delivery

All orders are posted via Royal Mail. Postage and packaging is calculated at the checkout stage for UK orders.

Overseas customers will need to contact me by email so that I can calculate the postage cost depending on the size of order and country it is to be sent to.

Dispatch/lead times cannot be guaranteed and are here as a guide only. This website may be closed for new orders from time to time to keep my workload at an acceptable level so that lead times can be maintained.

Deliveries within the UK are handled by Royal Mail and are sent using the tracked 24 service with signature. You will receive an email and a text message from Royal Mail to inform you of the delivery - if you are not going to be in, you will have the option to either rearrange the delivery day or agree a 'safe place' for the parcel to be left. If you have an agreement with Royal Mail to leave your parcels in an agreed 'safe place' and your parcel goes missing, this will be your responsibility.

If you believe your order to be lost in the post (it is not considered lost by Royal Mail until after 15 days from the date of posting), please contact me so that we can first try to track your order and then arrange for a replacement if necessary.

Overseas deliveries will be sent using a tracked / tracked & signed for service. Please be aware that customs policies vary from country to country and you may be subject to import duties and taxes. AK Creations has no control over any delays or charges arising from this and you as the customer are responsible for paying any fees incurred.

Your right to cancel

AK Creations coats and pyjamas are made to measure with your particular choice of colours, therefore you do not automatically have the right to cancel an order. However, if I have not yet started work on your order and you wish to cancel for a good reason, I will consider a full refund. If I have already started work on your order, then I will consider a partial refund (amount paid minus the cost of materials used).

My right to cancel

I reserve the right to cancel an order at any time until the order has been dispatched for any reason and refund the customer in full.

Returns

Items which have been made to measure and to the customer’s specifications are done so with information submitted by you, the customer. Full instructions as to how to measure are on this website. You are reminded on each item’s page how important it is to measure accurately following the instructions on my 'How To Measure' page. I cannot accept any returns on custom made items unless the fault lies with AK Creations.

If you believe that your order is unsatisfactory and that the fault lies with AK Creations, please contact me within 14 days of receiving the item. If a return is agreed, please package the item well and return to me in the same condition as it arrived using a secure delivery method. Please DO NOT return any items to me before discussing with me what the problem is.

Prices

Prices of items are subject to change from time to time without notice. However, I will honour the prices that were on the website at the time your order was placed. The prices shown on the website do not include postage or shipping. Postage is calculated when completing the checkout procedure. If you wish to check the postage prices for UK orders, you can do so here - payment and delivery.

Quality, use and care of products

AK Creations strives to produce items of excellent quality, using the best materials. If you feel that a product you have purchased from AK Creations has not lasted as long as you would have reasonably expected given only regular use, please contact me by e-mail with photos as soon as possible so that I can assess the condition and decide on a course of action.

All items ordered from AK Creations should only be washed according to the ‘care instructions’ page on this website.

AK Creations cannot be held responsible for any injury or loss incurred by the misuse of any product sold.
